How to return items to Home Depot?
There are 2 ways to return products to Home Depot:

- Return online.
If you have a Home Depot account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your account on www.homedepot.com.
- Select the products you want to return from My Orders.
- Click on Return Item.
- If the eligibility criteria are met, you will receive a return Return Mailing Label by email.
- Paste the Return Mailing Label on the product package and drop off in the nearest UPS drop-off location.
- Your refund will be processed once Home Depot receives your return.
Home Depot return policy exceptions
While most items can be returned in a timeframe of 180 days, Some product groups return rules are different.
30 Days return policy items:
The items below can be returned within a timeframe of 30 days of the date of purchase:
- Area Rugs
- Consumer Electronics (Television and Air Conditioners)
- Gas-powered equipment

Home Depot Appliance Return Policy
Home appliances, such as Refrigeration appliances, washers, dryers, dishwashers & microwaves should be inspected upon delivery or in-store.

Home Depot Plant Return Policy
The return policy on plants and accessories is quite simple. You get a guarantee on all perennials, shrubs, and trees for 365 days (one whole year!).
